Basic Safety Training (offshore)

This Basic Safety Training, developed by the Global Wind Organization (GWO), consists of the following modules:

• First Aid 
• Working at Heights
• Fire Awareness
• Manual Handling
• Sea Survival

There are no admission requirements for this training

All modules that are part of the Basic Safety Training can also be taken separately.

First Aid, Working at Heights, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling, Sea Survival

After successful completion of this training you will receive an official GWO certificate from the First Aid, Working at Heights, Fire Awareness, Manual Action and Sea Survival. You will also be registered in WINDA. WINDA is the online database for GWO training courses.

These certificates as well as the WINDA registration have a validity of 2 years and must be repeated every two years. You can repeat this by following the GWO refresher training.
