GWO Advanced Rescue Training

GWO Advanced Rescue Training – Is advanced rescue training something for you?

The GWO Advanced Rescue Training (ART) is an advanced rescue training in addition to the GWO Basic Safety Training (BST).

The training is intended for employees working in the wind industry who have been selected by their employer to perform advanced rescue operations or lead an advanced rescue operation.

In the GWO Basic Safety Training (specifically Working at Height), participants are taught simple rescue techniques to rescue a victim from a WTG. During the ART modules, techniques are discussed that go beyond the techniques used in the GWO Working at Height. You practice the techniques together as a team as well as individually where you carry out the entire rescue alone.
