First Aid E-Learning + Practical

GWO First Aid E-Learning + practical. Now partly online, very efficient!

The GWO First Aid is intended for everyone working in the wind industry. This training provides you with knowledge and skills about providing first aid in the event of accidents (first aid) in and around wind turbines. Limited spaces and the entry and exit options of a Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) are taken into account.

With this GWO E-Learning First Aid  you follow the theory online in your own time and pace anywhere in the world on your PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone. You will then follow the practice with us at the training center.

The content of this module has been prepared in accordance with the guidelines of the  Global Wind Organization (GWO) .

After completing the GWO First Aid E-learning + practice, you will receive the same certificate as the fully classroom-based GWO First Aid, which we of course still offer every week.

  • Use of Automatic External Defibrillator (AED)
  • First aid equipment
  • First aid in life-threatening situations
  • Basic knowledge of normal body functions
  • Symptoms of major and minor injuries and diseases (anatomy)

Additional options

The First Aid is one of the five modules of the basic safety training developed by the Global Wind Organization (GWO).

The complete package teaches participants everything to work safely in the wind industry and, in addition to the GWO First Aid, consists of the individual modules:

The modules can also be followed in combination in the GWO Basic Safety Training .

Certificate

After successfully completing this training you will receive an official GWO First Aid certificate. You will also be registered in WINDA. WINDA is the online database for GWO training.

This certificate and the WINDA registration are valid for 2 years and must be repeated every two years. You can repeat this by following the GWO refresher training courses.

As soon as you start taking a GWO training, you must create a Winda account. Don’t have this yet? Don’t worry, you can do that via this link . In this database you will find all obtained GWO certificates.
