GWO Basic Safety Training (offshore) – Refresher

The GWO Basic Safety Training Refresher is the official refresher training of the GWO Basic Safety Training . The GWO Basic Safety Training is intended for people working in the offshore wind industry. During the refresher training, the previously acquired skills are refreshed. Both theoretical and practical aspects are repeated, practicing various emergency situations in a realistic environment. After following this training you will be in possession of all Basic GWO certificates.

The content of this training has been drawn up according to the guidelines of the Global Wind Organization (GWO) .

This Basic Safety Training Refresher, developed by the Global Wind Organization (GWO), consists of the following modules:

Entry requirements

This training is intended for anyone who already has a Basic Safety Training certificate and complies with the two-year repetition obligation.

Additional options

All modules that are part of the Basic Safety Training Refresher can also be taken separately.

Certificate

After successfully completing this training you will receive an official GWO certificate from the First Aid Refresher, Working at Heights Refresher, Fire Awareness Refresher, Manual Handling Refresher and Sea Survival Refresher.

The obtained certificates are also registered in WINDA, the online database for GWO training courses. In this database you will find all your obtained GWO certificates.

These certificates as well as the WINDA registration have a validity of 2 years and must be repeated every two years. You can repeat this by (again) following the GWO refresher training.
