Basic Safety Training refresher (offshore) E-Learning & Practical

The GWO Basic Safety Training (Offshore) Refresher serves as the official update course for the GWO Basic Safety Training, specifically designed for professionals in the offshore wind industry. This refresher ensures that previously learned skills are revitalized, guaranteeing that participants are up-to-date with all necessary Basic GWO certifications.

Choosing the GWO E-Learning Basic Safety Training option allows participants to complete the theoretical component online at their own convenience, from any location worldwide, using any device like a PC, laptop, tablet, or smartphone. Subsequently, the practical part of the training is efficiently conducted over 3 days at our training center, enabling participants to save a full day of precious time.

Upon successful completion of the GWO Basic Safety Training refresher (offshore) E-learning + practice, participants will be awarded the same certification as those who partake in the full classroom-based GWO Basic Safety Training, which we continue to provide on a weekly basis.

The content of this training has been prepared according to the guidelines of the Global Wind Organization (GWO) .

This Basic Safety Training Refresher developed by the Global Wind Organization (GWO) consists of the following modules:

Admission requirements

This training is intended for anyone who already has a Basic Safety Training certificate and who complies with the biennial renewal obligation.

All modules that are part of the Basic Safety Training Refresher can also be followed separately.

Certificate

After successfully completing this training, you will receive an official GWO certificate for the First Aid Refresher, Working at Height Refresher, Fire Awareness Refresher, Manual Handeling Refresher and Sea Survival Refresher.

The certificates obtained are also registered in WINDA, the online database for GWO training. In this database you will find all your obtained GWO certificates.

These certificates as well as the WINDA registration have a validity of 2 years and must be repeated every two years. You can repeat this by (again) following the GWO refresher training courses.
