Manual Handling refresher E-Learning & Practical

The GWO Manual Handling Refresher E-Learning + Practical course offers a convenient way to update your skills, essential for personnel in the wind industry engaged in physical tasks. This refresher is required biennially to ensure that all previously acquired manual handling techniques remain sharp and effective.

This program allows you to revisit the theory of Manual Handling online, at your convenience, from anywhere in the world using your preferred device—be it a PC, laptop, tablet, or smartphone. The practical part of the training awaits you at our training center, giving you the flexibility to start your training whenever and wherever suits you best.

Upon successful completion of the GWO Manual Handling Refresher E-Learning + Practice, participants are awarded the same certification as those attending the traditional, classroom-based course, which continues to be available on a weekly basis.

About this training

Contents

During the training we will again discuss how to lift in a correct and occupationally sound manner. In addition, methods are again discussed with which you can move objects correctly.

The following topics are discussed in accordance with the GWO guidelines:

  • Personal safety
  • Practice lifting and moving heavy loads
  • Discuss practical situations and cases
  • Preventing injuries
  • Risk-reducing lifting techniques

For this training you must be in possession of a valid GWO Manual Handling (refresher) certificate

There is also a GWO Basic Safety Training Refresher E-learning + Practice in which the five above-mentioned modules are discussed.

Certificate

After successfully completing this training, you will receive an official GWO Manual Handling Refresher certificate. The obtained certificate is also registered in WINDA, the online database for GWO training. In this database you will find all your obtained GWO certificates.

This certificate as well as the WINDA registration are valid for 2 years and must be repeated every two years. You can repeat this by (again) following the GWO refresher training(s).
