The GWO Basic Safety Training (offshore) E-Learnig + practice is intended for people working in the offshore wind industry. The GWO Basic Safety Training (offshore) consists of First Aid, Working at Height, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling and Sea Survival.

With this GWO E-Learning Basic Safety Training you follow the theory online in your own time and pace anywhere in the world on your PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone. You will then undergo practical training at our training center in just 3.5 days . This saves you 1 day!

After completing the GWO Basic Safety Training (offshore) E-learning + practice, you will receive the same certificate as the fully classroom-based GWO Basic Safety Training, which we of course still offer weekly.

The content of this training has been prepared according to the guidelines of the Global Wind Organization (GWO) .

First Aid, Working at Height, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling, Sea Survival

Certificate

After successfully completing this training, you will receive an official GWO certificate for First Aid, Working at Height, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling and Sea Survival. You will also be registered in WINDA. WINDA is the online database for GWO training.

These certificates as well as the WINDA registration have a validity of 2 years and must be repeated every two years. You can repeat this by following the GWO refresher training courses.

As soon as you start taking a GWO training, you must create a Winda account. Don’t have this yet? Don’t worry, you can do that via this link . In this database you will find all obtained GWO certificates.
