First Aid refresher E-Learning + practical

GWO First Aid refresher E-Learning + practice. Now partly online, very efficient!

The GWO First Aid refresher is intended for anyone working in the wind industry. You must follow this refresher training every two years. During the training, everything you have previously learned about First Aid is repeated.

With this GWO E-Learning First Aid refresher  you follow the theory online in your own time and pace anywhere in the world on your PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone. You will then follow the practice with us at the training center.

The content of this module has been prepared in accordance with the guidelines of the  Global Wind Organization (GWO) .

After passing the GWO First Aid refresher E-learning + practice, you will receive the same certificate as with the fully classroom-based GWO First Aid refresher, which we of course still offer weekly.

About this training

Contents

The following topics are discussed in accordance with the GWO guidelines:

  • Use of Automatic External Defibrillator (AED)
  • First aid equipment
  • First aid in life-threatening situations
  • Basic knowledge of normal body functions
  • Symptoms of major and minor injuries and diseases (anatomy)

Admission requirements

For this training you must be in possession of a valid GWO First Aid (Refresher) certificate

There is also a GWO Basic Safety Training Refresher E-learning + Practice in which the five above-mentioned modules are discussed.

Certificate

After successfully completing this training you will receive an official GWO First Aid Refresher certificate. The obtained certificate is also registered in WINDA, the online database for GWO training. In this database you will find all your obtained GWO certificates.

This certificate as well as the WINDA registration are valid for 2 years and must be repeated every two years. You can repeat this by (again) following the GWO refresher training(s).
