Hybrid STCW Medical Care

Would you like to obtain your Hybrid STCW Medical Care Certificate in just 2 days? The international STCW treaty mandates legal requirements for medical care aboard ships. The individual responsible for medical care onboard must possess a valid STCW Medical Care certificate.

In our two-day hybrid STCW Medical Care training, you’ll learn how to effectively respond to medical emergencies and provide essential first aid. This training is enhanced with additional medical procedures, including suturing wounds, initiating IVs, and resuscitation techniques, among others.

What is hybrid training?

Hybrid STCW training allows you to complete theoretical components online at your own pace, from anywhere in the world, using your PC, laptop, tablet, or smartphone. The practical aspects are then completed in just 2 days at our training center, saving you a full day.

Admission requirements

To participate in the STCW Medical Care training, you must have a valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate (<5 years old) and a valid STCW Medical First Aid certificate (<5 years old).

Certificate

After successfully completing this training, you will receive an official (ILenT/Shipping approved) STCW Medical Care certificate. This certificate has a validity of 5 years and complies with the STCW ’78 guidelines including 2010 Manila amendments.

Are you following the hybrid training with us? The certificate is exactly the same certificate that you would receive from us if you follow the fully classroom training with us. You are therefore certified according to the STCW regulations.
