The GWO Basic Safety Training Onshore Refresher is the official refresher training of the GWO Basic Safety Onshore Training. The GWO Basic Safety Training is intended for people working in the wind industry. During the refresher training, the previously acquired skills are refreshed. Practicing and repeating various emergency situations will prepare you well for your work in the onshore wind industry. After following this training you will be in possession of all Basic GWO certificates.

The content of this training has been drawn up according to the guidelines of the Global Wind Organisation (GWO).

This Basic Safety Training Refresher, developed by the Global Wind Organization (GWO), consists of the following modules:

Entry requirements

This training is intended for anyone who already has a Basic Safety Training certificate and complies with the two-year repetition obligation.

First Aid Refresher, Working at Heights Refresher, Fire Awareness Refesher, Manual Handling Refresher

Certificate

After successfully completing this training you will receive an official GWO certificate from the First Aid Refresher, Working at Heights Refresher, Fire Awareness Refresher and Manual Action Refresher. The obtained certificates are also registered in WINDA, the online database for GWO training courses. In this database you will find all your obtained GWO certificates.

These certificates as well as the WINDA registration have a validity of 2 years and must be refreshed every two years. You do this repetition by (again) following the GWO refresher training.
